About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable handling cash transactions, and be proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems. The Cashier will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations at our establishment.

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment in accordance with company policies.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding prices, promotions, and product availability.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
Balance cash register at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer interactions.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking merchandise as needed.
Qualifcations
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
